CUBAGENWEB
SITE RESTRUCTURED
As part of continuing improvements to CubaGenWeb,
the entire site has been restructured and almost all of the pages have
been brought under a uniform format under new web managing software. This
will facilitate maintaining all the information on the web site, which
now is contained in over 180 files, and prevent broken links internal
to the site. One of the major changes was the breaking up of the published
references page (which had grown to unmanageable size) into separate category
pages. Another change was to split the Mambi database query form from
the instructions to facilitate printing of results. If you had previously
saved bookmarks to your favorite internal pages in some instances these
bookmarks may no longer be working. Please follow the links from this
page to reach the information. Once you reach the desired information
you can again bookmark the page.
CUBAGENWEB TRAFFIC
CubaGenWeb traffic continues fairly stable,
with an average of 510 visitors per day in the month of August (traffic
usually drops slightly during vacation season). There were 50 sessions
from Cuba, the highest we have ever had. See the Site
Statistics page for more details.
CUBAGEN.ORG
You should be able to now reach CubaGenWeb also via the following shorter URL address: cubagen.org.
We hope this makes it easier to remember.
